terrific thursday

So this guy's been coming in every morning and he totally reminds me of T, only he's taller! And cuter. Anyways, he came through DT this afternoon and we had this random convo about his coming in in the morning and me never working DT and we were both there today. Wierd. Anyways, before he pulled away, he smiled at me, and suddenly, my day got BRIGHT! After that, the hockey player that said he'd bring me tickets came thru and got my name and told me to go to will call tomorrow night. His gf is such a sweetheart. :) After that... my movie star showed up. I thought he'd fallen off the planet, but said he's just been really busy. I might get to take some pictures of him. Apparently he needs some taken, and since I want to be a photographer, we might work together. Interesting..... So needless to say, it was a good afternoon in DT. YAY! :)

Found a new favorite place to hang out. A martini bar/cafe opened recently and a bunch of us went there last night for K's birthday. It was a select group - one that's been forming and one that I'm very glad to be a part of. The 3 Ks, L & me. Oh, and 3 boys. It's a fun little group. Anyways, the martinis are good, the gelato is good, the tiramisu is out of this world, the decaf coffee was just so-so. We're going there again tomorrow night for the other L's birthday.

I have a BN coupon that expires at close tonight. Guess I should go use that ...

I finally got on another ferry. Hey, they cost money and you have to have the time to go somewhere... Anyways, a bunch of us went to Bainbridge Island for dinner Saturday night. We ate at Cafe Nola and it was FAB! But then we had to run to catch the 10:30 ferry back to Seattle. But it was FUN!!! :) And I think I could live over there. :)

So I went on a date on Monday night. This guy could be my twin as far as hockey & coffee go. He likes his booze a little too much to be my identical twin. He turned 21 on Monday and wanted me to meet him out. I'm so not a bar person, but this little place across the corner from the arena is clean and fairly bright and since it was after the game, I knew just about everyone in there. I went straight from the mall and didn't bother going into the game cuz it was just about over. I had a sandwich while I was waiting and when he finally showed up, he got a drink and ordered his wings to go. We chatted hockey for a while and called one of our friends who was supposed to show up and didn't. By this time, it was getting late and I had to work early, so we left. As we were walking out, he was like "Oh, the guys are just getting on the bus. I need an autograph from NP. Do you want to walk over there with me?" I shrugged and followed him over.
