wasting time

I have so many things I want to post about, but don't really feel like posting. :(

I have Friday - Tuesday off and would love to go somewhere, but I've been checking flights and can't really seem to find anything that I want to spend the money on to go to. (did that make ANY sense?!)

So in the process of looking for a quick trip - perhaps somewhere I've never been to?!! - I fell onto this site where you can put in your birthday and click either UK or US and find out what song was number 1 the day you were born. It's neat. My US song is: (Hey Won’t You Play) Another Somebody Done Somebody Wrong Song - B. J. Thomas and my UK song is: Bye Bye Baby - The Bay City Rollers. I have to say that I don't know either song, although I have heard of The Bay City Rollers.

And now, I really need to get off the computer and finish up those valentines I've been working on so I can get them in the mail. Ta ta for now! :)

I finally got on another ferry. Hey, they cost money and you have to have the time to go somewhere... Anyways, a bunch of us went to Bainbridge Island for dinner Saturday night. We ate at Cafe Nola and it was FAB! But then we had to run to catch the 10:30 ferry back to Seattle. But it was FUN!!! :) And I think I could live over there. :)

So I went on a date on Monday night. This guy could be my twin as far as hockey & coffee go. He likes his booze a little too much to be my identical twin. He turned 21 on Monday and wanted me to meet him out. I'm so not a bar person, but this little place across the corner from the arena is clean and fairly bright and since it was after the game, I knew just about everyone in there. I went straight from the mall and didn't bother going into the game cuz it was just about over. I had a sandwich while I was waiting and when he finally showed up, he got a drink and ordered his wings to go. We chatted hockey for a while and called one of our friends who was supposed to show up and didn't. By this time, it was getting late and I had to work early, so we left. As we were walking out, he was like "Oh, the guys are just getting on the bus. I need an autograph from NP. Do you want to walk over there with me?" I shrugged and followed him over.
